We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Laravel Developer to join our growing software development team. Your primary responsibility will be to create robust and scalable web applications using the Laravel framework. You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver products and features that leverage the power of AI and VR, contributing to the evolution of healthcare and therapy solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop backend web applications using the Laravel framework, with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and security
- Utilise Docker to containerise web application projects in development, staging, and production environments
- Configure and deploy containerised web applications to Amazon Web Services (AWS) using Elastic Container Service
- Create REST or GraphQL-based backend APIs that can be consumed by end-user mobile, VR, and desktop applications
- Collaborate within a small, multi-disciplined team to design and implement new products and features that align with our company's vision
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services, particularly the Elastic Container Service stack
- Mastery of web development fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in a recent version of the Laravel framework
- Working knowledge of server-side technologies including nginx, Redis, and database servers like MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Solid experience integrating web applications with database systems
- Strong understanding of web application and server security best practices
Nice to Have::
- Understanding of the Elastic (ELK) Stack for advanced data analysis and visualization
- Exposure to Virtual Reality applications and an interest in exploring their integration into web platforms
- Familiarity with C# and Unity development to assist in the integration of backend APIs
- Experience with pyTorch and a grasp of machine learning concepts
- Familiarity with Laravel Livewire for dynamic, reactive interfaces
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a full-stack web developer with a strong focus on Laravel and related technologies
- A robust portfolio or work history showcasing your expertise in building scalable and performant web applications
