Moving Towards A Greener Future
At First Blue Healthcare we work hard to be as environmentally friendly as possible and have now provided several of our homes with electric cars. We are passionate about making changes for the better and going greener is something we aspire to. That’s why we decided to introduce electric cars and what a great way to reduce not only the company’s carbon footprint but our employee’s too.
Going Electric - Implementing the Change
The new cars have gone down a treat with staff and as you can see the manager of Bellhurst Cottage is very proudly showing off hers.
Although some team members were reluctant to believe how easy the changeover would be now all of the homes are really happy with how efficient the cars are. Plus the young people in our care think they look great.
Thinking of the Future
We anticipate all our cars will be replaced by electric versions in the not too distant future and will continue to look at other ways to help protect our environment, By looking after our environment today we can have a positive effect on the environment of the future.
