Continuing on from our last update, the building work on Cornerstone in Wolverhampton is well underway. This is one of First Blue Healthcare’s latest children’s homes, which will be opening soon.
After acquiring the home, we decided to completely strip out all the interior and take the property back to brick and start again, as you can see in the images below.
As will all our children’s homes, the finished design will have all the features required to fully accommodate the needs of the children and young people in our care. It will have the aesthetics and style of a beautiful, welcoming environment, and also be of the highest standard.
Creating Eco-Friendly Children’s Homes
Alongside our commitment to providing the very best accommodation for children and young people, we are also committed to making our homes as eco-friendly as possible. That’s why we’re currently in the process of fully replacing and improving the insulation throughout the property. Coupled with this, we’re also installing an Air Source Heat Pump and electric car charger, making the property far more economical and lowering our impact on the environment.
