At First Blue Healthcare we are committed to creating caring and loving environments in which children in our care can flourish and progress. So it was smiles all round when Lily House, one of our children’s residential homes situated on the outskirts of Burnley, was recently inspected by Ofsted and rated GOOD in all areas.
Lily House is a lovely property that has a real homely feel. Like all our homes At First Blue Healthcare, it provides an atmosphere in which children can thrive and feel safe. That’s why we are so pleased that our passion and efforts to achieve this have been reflected in the excellent feedback from Ofsted.
It is clear from the comments made that the Ofsted inspector was impressed with the standard of residential care provided at Lilly House, commenting that:
‘The young people appear to be very happy and settled and it is evident how well they interact with the adults in the home.’
The inspector praised our Registered Manager for developing the team to a high standard and ensuring they are supported to care for the children. Broneya has worked for the organisation for many years and has had lots of success with the children she looks after whilst ensuring they are able to grow and develop.
Team Development and Dedicated Support
During the inspection it was recognised that the manager and adults in the home were very passionate and dedicated to the young people they care for. Striving to ensure they have every opportunity to reach their potential in an environment they can feel safe, cared for, and loved in.
This is First Blue Healthcare’s first inspection in the reporting year and Broneya and her team have set the bar high. A massive well done to all at Lily House. We are so delighted that our hard work and approach to care at First Blue Healthcare has been recognised.
